(This is a republished old entry.)
My newest internet obsession is Furcadia. :) It’s just so good that I can’t help it. It’s a roleplay-driven MMOG that provides players with great freedom. I like it as much as I like Palace Chat, even though the latter is almost dead, so I rarely visit it.
Well, so my current main and only character is Michah, named after my first cat, Michín, whom we also called Micha for being female. She is a Feline ‘Furre’ (or furry cat). Has basically no background for the moment, though. I think I’ll join the default ‘continuity’ (world and storyline) of Furcadia with her, and create yet another character for other continuities.
You can see her profile here. It’s hosted in a remote website called ‘Furocity’, for the moment. I’ll be moving her to this website sooner or later. And if I decide to stay in Furcadia as a regular player, it is most probable that a Furcadia-only website will surge and I’ll just abandon that place.
Apart from the default Furcadia continuity, I have found some very interesting dreams where I could roleplay seriously for long periods of time, with an extra alt (character) dedicated to each one of them. To be more exact, these are only two. One is ‘Children of Prophecy‘ in the Raela Kingdom. The other is ‘Plantation Coast‘ in the Kasurian world. I am more interested in CoP than PC, but PC seems much more organized and detailed. Then again, I haven’t even applied or contacted the owners of any of these dreams, so I could be wrong.
Michah has recently found a great place where to hang-out, out of character. It’s a very friendly environment. The dream is described as anarchist, heheh. And well, with much reason. It only asks for players to be respectful to each other, avoid drama, etc. And that’s basically it. There are not many restrictions on what you can do there, and even with that, everything seems organized. This dream is called Crystalline Waters, and if you play Furcadia, you should check it out.
And that’s all about Furcadia for now. If you like roleplay, then you should definitely join. There are no levels, no stats, no skills. You forge your own dream worlds and stories through the many wonderful tools provided with the game’s client. So, happy dreaming!

Idk if you remember me but Im Friendly Sammy from the CW Dream, Basically I’m trying to get the old group back together and I found your blog post via google =P Well anyways, my new main is SilverCat, add me in Pounce..that is if you still use furcadia. Comment on this please ^^
Hello there! It’s nice to see you. :) I’m definitely interested in joining the CW Dream again. I haven’t been playing Furcadia recently for lack of things to do, but I want to return. :) Sign me in!
