Every Day the Same Dream is an “art game” created in about six days, by La Molleindustria. It is not traditional in any way, and you will find yourself pondering about certain aspects of life, such as routine, like the game’s title suggests, but especially about the implications of these, and the possible alternatives or “solutions” to them.
I highly recommend it. It won’t take you more than 10 minutes to play, from beginning to end. I always enjoy psychological games, subject to each individual’s interpretations. These are often the most engaging, the ones that truly get me; the ones that leave something behind for us to appreciate somehow, even if it’s just an impression. Such works and their experiences are, in my humble opinion as a fellow gamer, even more valuable than those that exist just for entertainment’s sake.
Every Day the Same Dream can be played in your Web browser –as long as you have your flash plugin installed, which is very likely. Or you can download it to your computer: executables for Mac OS X and Windows operating systems alike are available.

Lol. I'm getting the feeling this game was made by an art student who's never actually worked a cubicle job or been married for a day in his life.
TBH, I'm always kinda alienated by games that portray mundanity as something negative. Maybe it's just me…
Your opinion is just as valid. :) I myself am from those who could not stand living every day in the exact same way, or working with the same people for years and years –unless it s the best job in the world, that is! I like to be surprised, and experience new things every day, learning as much as I can. However, everybody is different, and the exceptions are always there. Indeed, routine is not always bad; there is much to appreciate in the mundane, too. :3
