Massive Room Cleanup, OMG! December 30

I know I have again been away from many things.  I have to respond to many messages, clean my e-mail account, update some sites, fix others, etc. But before all of that, I HAVE to do a MASSIVE ROOM CLEANUP, and I am about to start!  Yes, just now! The idea is to leave this room so clean, and so free of junk, that I'll have room for my own handmade doll house to photograph my dolls in.  This is a big personal project.  Mom is gonna help if I do this room cleanup well. So here is a reminder of what I have to do, and how:
  1.  Prepare the room's space, so that I can bring the boxes and bags to throw all the junk in.
  2. Get cardboard boxes and bags, duh.  The junk has to go somewhere.
  3. Separate real junk from stuff that might be used again by other people.  They could be given out or even sold.
  4. Start with the clothes.
  5. Go on with shoes.
  6. Follow with bags and bagpacks.
  7. Then all the papers and discs and all that crap...
  8. Then the books...
  9. Then... the... um... anything else that's left.
  10. And... then it's time to take out the junk in boxes and bags, and store what could be sold or given to other people.
  11. And finally, time to clean all the dust and cat hair on the floor and the walls!  Good-bye to darn allergies!
  12. Oh, and one last thing!  Organization.  Time to organize where to place every thing, change my bed's 'look', put my dollies in a safe place, fold clean clothes, and ta-da!
Kind of messed up...  I am not very sure of how this is going to end, but eh.  Writing about it helps. WISH ME LUCK!

Announcement: Project Fantasy Project December 23

Today, I officially declare Project Fantasy, a dead project.  For as much as it pains me, I still have to do it.  I simply lost interest a long time ago, and in every attempt to regain that interest, I have failed.  So, it's the end for it.  Project Fantasy will be one of the greatest memories, and will always hold a special place in my heart.  That's for sure. I encourage all of those who are still around and belonged to PF to follow me from this blog, contact me via instant messaging, e-mail me, or join one of my other projects.  Just keep in touch with me, please.  Beautiful friendships came from this project, and I don't want to lose them just because it's over. Please, don't ever forget I am more than just a presence in the internet.  I am a human, a real person.  I can be a real friend, you see.  That was always my goal.  To make friends.  And to me, a friend is someone I really care for, be it online or in the 'real world'. It's official.  This is it, and I am sorry if I ever disappointed you, which I know I did to some... One thing.  I am going to open a small personal board for topics that interest me.  Anyone can join.  It should be really fun!  You will find me there, so stop by when I open it. Thank you for staying all this time, and take care. - Arwym

EWW! EEP! December 22

Just some minutes ago, I saw two cars (on the road), one beside the other, and their license plates were, respectively, EWW 048 and EEP 972. Isn't that curious? LOL. XD

New Project Started: Guide to First Website Creation! December 16

With my brother's recent interest in having his own website, I decided to start a guide that can help him and other beginners in this wonderful hobby.  And I am doing it my way!  Presenting Arwym's Guide to Your First Website project!  The following is my first attempt to write a series of 'tutorials'.  It is also something I am doing from the bottom of my heart, expecting that it will help many. The difference between this guide and all the bunch of "first website" guides found around the web is that mine doesn't jump into HTML and web hosting right away.  I have a different view on how someone should start with their first website.  They really need to grab the concept first, and tell the difference between a 'good' and a 'bad' website.  Also, the truth is that most of us did not start with HTML, but with visual editors.  And although I don't like those, I think it's better to start with them.  Coding is not the most important part of a website's creation.  Also, creating and managing a website is something that should be enjoyed.  I won't start with all the technical aspects until I have covered what I consider to be more important. I know that many people won't agree with me.  That's fine.  This is what works for me, and may not work for everyone.  And I am not trying to impose my way over others.  But I invite everyone to read it and tell me if they think it helps. The guide will be released step by step.  The first step is published already.  I will post an entry every time a new step is published. I have yet to add a special links section for this guide.  I am going to suggest other references, guides and tutorials to complement mine, because I won't go in depth with some things, since it's not necessary.  Many other authors have covered certain aspects of a website's creation very well.  I don't have to try and do it myself.  Also, I am not an expert. Well, I sincerely hope that you enjoy and find some use in this guide! Thank you for reading!

Photoblog December 14

I would have just used Pixelpost, but meh, it seems like too much for the use I would have given to it.  So there, I created an account at Aminus3.  I started a small photoblog. I am going to get a Canon Powershot again, because I can't stand using anything else.  After my experience with Canon, everything else seems like crap to me.  Even that Sony Cyber-Shot I got recently.  No way it surpasses the quality of my first digital camera. Photoblogs are fun, so why not give them a try?  Aminus3 appears to be good.  It's very easy to use, and there's a community.  That is great if I want some feedback, or at least a public.  Flickr is great, but no one ever comments on my photos.  I know they are bad.  That's probably it.  I hope to improve, though.  But how am I going to feel motivated to take photos when I have such a bad luck with cameras? My photoblog's address is http://arwym.aminus3.com.  Not much to see right now, but when there is, I hope to see you there!
