Time to relax! :) January 31

Heheh! Finally, I can rest for a couple of days without worrying about anything that has to do with the university.  I just had a couple of very, very stressing exams.  And I have had enough for the moment. So until Saturday, I'll be having a good time reading the magazine I bought last week: Letras Nuevas.  It's a very good magazine about Hispanic literature, created here in Puerto Rico!  A new issue is published every three months (that makes a total of 4 every year), and it contains original works by local writers from the island!  I am excited about it, because I never imagined there would be a magazine like this in here.  Trust me, it is very hard to find people interested in literature nowadays, at least where I live.  Now I can stay up to date in the subject and expand my own knowledge and vocabulary.  There are many good things to say about this magazine and its content.  Even its design is great.  Whoever the graphic designer is, did a wonderful and elegant job. Anyway!  I will also be playing around with a new blog software I discovered the other day.  It's called Chyrp!  Well, actually, it was a good friend who told me about it.  I installed it and am loving it so far!  Only a little hard to get used to in the beginning.  And the current promoted build has some bugs due to little incompatibilities with PHP 5, but nothing critical.  There is currently little to no documentation, but enough to help you get started with doing all sorts of modifications.  It's really a light piece of software, highly customizable (open source, anyway), with some really nice 'feathers' and modules already.  And the community seems quite friendly.  The developer answered to my own questions in less than an hour.  He was very nice.  So I really recommend this one, if you don't want old big Wordpress.  Wordpress can be an unnecessary burden sometimes, you know!  When you want a simple blog, it's better to use something like Chyrp.  I'll be occupied with a few other things, but mostly, just that...  And sleeping, of course!  :P See?  I finally posted again!  Thanks for coming!

OMG at Lazyness… January 22

... Sometimes I am just too lazy to update my blog.  >.<  When I have so much to talk about!  But it all usually gets lost in my mind.  Many of the subjects are too complex and the posts would be too long... so I just don't post. And, erm... I have to go, because the class is about to start.  That is, Western Culture, Part II. Just something new: now I can connect to the internet from my laptop while I am at the university!  That's such a relief, heheh... See you later!
